anaerobe 2023 took place on 12–14 july 2023 at the leonardo hotel, cardiff. in this blog, we take a look at the highlights from twitter.
#anaerobe2023 was one of our most exciting focused meetings so far this year! the programme was filled with scientific talks, poster presentations and opportunities to socialise and network with other experts across the world in the field of anaerobic bacteria and medicine. we were thrilled to welcome back familiar faces and welcome back others to their first ever conference.
looking forward to speaking about dental infections and ams on friday morning. #anaerobe2023 thank you for allowing me to speak virtually from the lakes. https://t.co/b6jyoklbsq

scientific sessions
the scientific sessions at #anaerobe2023 were designed to give delegates a forum to discuss the latest research in anaerobic bacteria and medicine. the programme featured talks by invited speakers from across the world, which provided a great opportunity for those working in the field to share ideas, network and collaborate.

poster sessions
the poster sessions showcased the diversity of research within the anaerobic research community. our delegates were able to share their work, and discuss and exchange ideas with one another, giving plenty of opportunities for early career researchers to present their work too!
