the sars-cov-2 and covid-19 online workshop took place on wednesday 29 july 2020 and bought together researchers from labs across the uk to discuss research on topics including the virus and its genes, pathology and immunology, and therapeutics and vaccines. we’ve turned to twitter to take a look back at the day.
unlike previous society-run workshops, most people didn’t need to travel to attend, instead setting up in their home or office.

the day was filled with short talks followed by q&as, allowing delegates to find out more about each other’s research and discover resources that could be shared between labs.
