vaccines as tools to combat antimicrobial resisitance took place as in person meeting between 27–28 february 2023 and was held in edgebaston park hotel and conference centre in birmingham, uk. we've turned to twitter to take a look at some of the highlights!
#vaccines4amr was one of our biggest focused meetings so far this year! the programme was filled with scientific talks, poster presentations and opportunities to socialise and network with other experts across the world in the field vaccine production and antimicrobial resistance. we were thrilled to welcome back familiar faces and welcome back others to their first ever conference.
scientific sessions
the scientific sessions at #vaccines4amr were designed to give delegates a forum to discuss the latest antimicrobial resistance research. the programme featured talks by invited speakers from across the world, which provided a great opportunity for those working in the field to share ideas, network and collaborate.
thought-provoking talk by catrin moore of @londonu on the burden of #amr @bactivac @microbiosoc #vaccines4amr #bactivacevents. we need to know the actual burden of #amr based on quality-assured data across all levels of health. current data is majorly based on tertiary care. pic.twitter.com/zufr7d0nwk
