new opportunity to influence the society’s direction: members panelwe are establishing a members panel: a group of members from underrepresented communities who will convene to bring their perspectives on our efforts to ensure the society is welcoming across all its activities. we are currently seeking the inaugural chair and members of the panel; members are invited to submit expressions of interest before 16 november 2021. we are particularly looking for members who are disabled or have long-term illnesses, lgbtq+ members, and members from other marginalised backgrounds. members who are not from marginalised groups are welcome to join if they wish to demonstrate their support, however, our primary focus will be on bringing the voices of those who are not usually heard to the fore. |
