registration if you have not already done so, please ensure that you register your attendance online before the registration deadline on monday 28 march. on-site registration will take place at the convention centre’s riverside foyer where you will be given a speaker delegate badge that you must wear at all times. |

presentation details the full conference programme can be found on our website. please familiarise yourself with the date, time and duration of your presentation. please note, presentation times are subject to change.
within your allocated slot, you should allow time for a q&a session. the amount of time you allow for questions can be determined by yourself, however, here is a guide to help:

30 minute talk: 25 minute presentation with 5 minutes for q&a 15 minute talk: 12 minute presentation with 3 minutes for q&a 12 minute talk: 10 minute presentation with 2 minutes for q&a
flash poster presenters should prepare a five-minute powerpoint presentation, with a maximum of 3 slides to be presented in the main scientific session, as well as their poster to be presented in the poster sessions. |
speaker preview room speakers are required to upload a copy of their powerpoint slides at least two hours prior to their presentation time at the speaker preview room. this will be situated in boardroom 1, and will have dedicated av technicians who will be available to assist you during the opening hours.

on-demand content a selection of sessions across a generalist spread of microbiology content will be recorded during the in-person conference and will be made available on-demand on the virtual event platform. this content will also be available for all members of the society through mi society.

covid-19 mitigations to ensure that conference is as safe as possible, we have developed a framework of mitigations against covid-19, which can be found on the conference webpage. all attendees are required to be fully vaccinated at least 14 days before conference. for many, this will mean a primary course and booster vaccine. if you have a query about your vaccination status, please get in touch with us at conferences@www.banhxebo.com to discuss further.
