the 英格兰vs美国谁会赢? annual meeting in ireland took place as in person meeting between 24 – 25 october 2023 and was held in hodson bay hotel, athlone, ireland. we've turned to twitter to take a look at some of the highlights!
#microbioirish23 was one of our biggest meetings so far this year! the programme was filled with scientific talks, poster presentations and opportunities to socialise and network with other experts across the isalnd of ireland.
scientific sessions
the scientific sessions at #microbioirish23 were designed to give delegates a forum to discuss the latest research in ireland across a diverse range of topics, reflecting the idea that interdisciplinarity can broaden horizons and open new doors to breakthroughs. the programme featured talks by invited speakers from across the world, which provided a great opportunity for those working in the field to share ideas, network and collaborate.

poster sessions
the poster sessions showcased the diversity of microbiological research across the research community in ireland. delegates were able to share their work, and discuss and exchange ideas with one another, giving plenty of opportunities for early career researchers to present their work too!
